Activation et désactivation

An integrated compass1 in the upper right corner of the rearview mirror shows the direction the vehicle is traveling.

La boussole s'active automatiquement au démarrage du véhicule.

Désactiver/activer manuellement les boussoles :

  • Use a paper clip or similar object to press the button on the bottom of the mirror.
    • If the compass is deactivated when the vehicle is switched off, it will not be activated the next time the vehicle is started. The compass will then need to be activated manually.

The globe is divided into 15 magnetic zones. The compass1 should be calibrated if the vehicle is driven from one zone to another.

  1. Stop the vehicle in a large, open area away from steel constructions and high-voltage power lines.
  2. Start the engine and switch off all electrical equipment (climate system, wipers, etc.) and make sure all doors are closed.
  3. Hold the button on the bottom of the rearview mirror pressed for about 3 seconds (using e.g. a paper clip). The number of the current magnetic zone is shown.

  4. 4. Press the button on the underside of the mirror repeatedly until the desired magnetic zone (1–15) appears (see the map of magnetic zones).
  5. Attendre que l'écran affiche à nouveau C, ou maintenir enfoncé le bouton situé sous le rétroviseur intérieur pendant env. 6 secondes, jusqu'à son affichage.
  6. Conduire lentement en cercle à une vitesse maximale de 10 km/h jusqu'à ce qu'une direction de la boussole s'affiche à l'écran. Cela indique que l'étalonnage est terminé. Tourner encore deux fois en cercle pour finaliser l'étalonnage.
  7. Véhicules avec pare-brise chauffant* : si C s'affiche à l'écran lorsque la fonction de chauffage du pare-brise est activée, effectuer l'étape 6 ci-dessus avec la fonction de chauffage activée.
  8. Répétez la procédure ci-dessus si nécessaire.
