Activación y desactivación

An integrated compass1 in the upper right corner of the rearview mirror shows the direction the vehicle is traveling.

La brújula se activa automáticamente al arrancar el vehículo.

Desactivar/activar manualmente las brújulas:

  • Use a paper clip or similar object to press the button on the bottom of the mirror.
    • If the compass is deactivated when the vehicle is switched off, it will not be activated the next time the vehicle is started. The compass will then need to be activated manually.

Calibración de la brújula

The globe is divided into 15 magnetic zones. The compass1 should be calibrated if the vehicle is driven from one zone to another.

  1. Stop the vehicle in a large, open area away from steel constructions and high-voltage power lines.
  2. Start the engine and switch off all electrical equipment (climate system, wipers, etc.) and make sure all doors are closed.
  3. Hold the button on the bottom of the rearview mirror pressed for about 3 seconds (using e.g. a paper clip). The number of the current magnetic zone is shown.

  4. 4. Press the button on the underside of the mirror repeatedly until the desired magnetic zone (1–15) appears (see the map of magnetic zones).
  5. Espere hasta que la pantalla vuelva a mostrar C, o mantenga pulsado el botón de la parte inferior del espejo retrovisor durante aprox. 6 segundos, hasta que aparezca.
  6. Conduzca lentamente en círculo a una velocidad no superior a 10 km/h hasta que aparezca una dirección de la brújula en la pantalla. Esto indica que la calibración se ha completado. Conduzca en círculo dos veces más para confirmar la calibración.
  7. Vehículos con parabrisas calefactado*: Si aparece C en la pantalla al activar la función de calefacción del parabrisas, realice el paso 6 anterior con la función de calefacción activada.
  8. Repita el procedimiento anterior según sea necesario.
