The windshield, rear window and the small triangular window in the rear doors are bonded with structural adhesive. On the Audi 80 they are therefore structural body components and were taken into account in the body strength calculations.


Bonded glass must not be serviced at home because the necessary tools are not available – take the vehicle to a workshop.
