Top Tether Anchor Locations

Tether anchors are provided behind each rear seat, located in the panel between the rear seatback and the rear window. They are under a plastic cover marked with a tether anchor symbol.

LATCH-compatible child restraints will have a rigid bar or flexible strap on each side. Each will have a hook or connector to attach to a lower anchor, and a means of tightening the connection to the anchor. Forward-facing child restraints and some rear-facing child restraints will also have a tether strap. The tether strap will have a hook at the end to attach it to the top tether anchor, and a means of tightening the strap after it is attached to the anchor.
