Backup Airbag Warning Lamp

If a malfunction that may affect the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) is detected, the backup airbag warning lamp will illuminate on the instrument panel. The backup airbag warning lamp will remain on until the malfunction is corrected. In addition, a single chime will sound to alert you that the backup airbag warning lamp has illuminated and a malfunction has been detected. If the backup airbag warning lamp flashes intermittently or remains on while driving, immediately take your vehicle to an authorized dealer for service.
