Ignition Off

Turn the key to the 0 position.

Switching the Ignition to Accessory Mode

Turn the key to the I position. Electrical accessories, such as the radio, operate without the engine running.

Switching the Ignition On

Turn the key to the II position. All electrical circuits and accessories are operational and warning lamps and indicators illuminate.

Starting the Engine

Turn the key to the III position. Release the key when the engine starts.
