System Operation

When there is no vehicle within the radar sensor detection range
Your vehicle travels at the speed you have set.

When the speed of the vehicle ahead, within the radar sensor detection range, becomes lower than the speed you have set
If the speed of the vehicle ahead is lower than the speed you have set, your vehicle will decelerate to the speed of the vehicle ahead. Your vehicle will maintain a constant distance from the vehicle ahead until its speed changes.
If the vehicle ahead suddenly brakes, or another vehicle suddenly cuts in between it and your vehicle, the ACC system will sound a warning tone and the symbol
or the message BRAKE will appear on the multi-function information display.
In this case, press the brake pedal and continue to maintain a safe distance from the vehicle ahead.

When the vehicle within the radar sensor detection range is traveling at a constant speed
Your vehicle will maintain a set distance to the vehicle ahead. However, ACC will not maintain a set distance to the vehicle ahead if its speed is outside the ACC control range (above 180 km/h or below 30 km/h).

If the vehicle ahead changes lanes, ACC will stop tracking it. Your vehicle will return to the set speed.
Some noise may be heard when the vehicle is braked by the ACC system. This does not indicate a malfunction.
