Fuel Filter
Replace the fuel filter at the intervals specified in the maintenance schedule, which depends on the vehicle's age and mileage.
For gasoline engine vehicles: In all countries except EU countries, South Africa and Russia, it is recommended to replace the fuel filter every 40,000 km or every 2 years, whichever comes first, if there is a possibility that the fuel used may clog the filter. When driving in very dusty conditions, the filter may clog more quickly.
For all vehicle versions: Have the fuel filter replaced by an authorized Honda dealer. The fuel system is under pressure; improper handling of fuel line connections may cause fuel to spray and create a hazardous situation.
Draining water (diesel engine vehicles only)

If the symbol shown in the illustration appears in the multi-information display, or this symbol appears together with the message "WATER IN FUEL FILTER", water has accumulated in the fuel system, which may cause the system to fail. Have your dealer drain the water as soon as possible.
If the vehicle has not been used for a long time, the engine may not start. If water has accumulated in the fuel system, the corresponding symbol will appear in the multi-information display when the ignition switch is turned to ON (II).
This may also be caused by air entering the fuel system. In this case, follow the procedure described in "Bleeding the Fuel System" on page 501.
