Inspection

  1. Connect the GDS to the Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Turn the ignition on.
  3. Measure the output voltage of APS 1 and 2 at C.T. and W.O.T.

    Specification: Refer to "Specifications"

Removal

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the accelerator position sensor connector (A).
  3. Remove the mounting bolt (B) and nuts (C), then remove the accelerator pedal module.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Accelerator pedal module mounting bolt: 8.8 ~ 13.7 N·m Accelerator pedal module mounting nut: 12.7 ~ 15.7 N·m
