Repair Procedures

Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

  2. Remove the airbag lower panel.

    (Refer to Body - "Under Cover Panel")

  3. Remove the side repeater switch panel (A) after loosening the screws.

  4. Disconnect the side cover switch connector (A).

  5. Remove the side repeater switch (A) by opening the holder in the trunk. Arrow indicates direction.

Installation

  1. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Inspection

  1. Check the continuity of the new rheostat switch. If the light intensity changes smoothly without flickering when the rheostat is turned, the rheostat is normal.
