ROOF ANTENNA

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

  2. Remove the headlining.

    (Refer to Body - "Header")

  3. Disconnect the roof antenna connector (A).

  4. Loosen the mounting nut (A) and remove the roof antenna (B).

Installation

Roof antenna

  1. Connect the roof antenna.

  2. Connect the roof antenna and radio antenna connectors.

  3. Install the headlining.

  4. Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.

TEST

ANTENNA CABLE

  1. Check continuity between the center terminals of the antenna cable.

  2. Check the continuity of the circuit between the outer terminals of the antenna cable. There should be continuity.

  3. If there is no continuity, replace the antenna cable.

  4. Check the continuity of the circuit between the center pole (A) and the outer pole (B) of the antenna cable. There should be no continuity.

  5. If there is continuity, replace the antenna cable.
