Driving Tips

Driving at Night

~1min read

Driving at night is more hazardous than driving during the day. Therefore, please observe the following guidelines:

  • Reduce your speed and keep a greater distance from other vehicles, as visibility may be limited at night, especially in areas without street lighting.
  • Adjust the mirrors to avoid glare from the headlights of other vehicles.
  • Keep the headlights clean and properly aimed (for vehicles without automatic headlight leveling, adjust the headlights). Dirty or misaligned low beam headlights make it difficult to see in the dark.
  • Do not look directly at the headlights of oncoming vehicles. You may be temporarily blinded, and it takes several seconds for your eyes to readjust to the darkness.
