Beschreibung

Das Geschwindigkeitsregelungssystem wird mit dem Tempomat-Hauptschalter "ON/OFF", rechts an der Lenksäule, eingeschaltet. Das System verfügt über Funktionen für Langstreckenfahrten, Schiebebetrieb, Geschwindigkeitswiederaufnahme und Beschleunigung.

Außerdem ist eine Sicherheitsabschaltung vorhanden, die bei Betätigung des Bremspedals oder beim Gangwechsel mit dem Wählhebel aktiviert wird.

The control module for this system is the ECM. The main components of the cruise control system are the mode control switches, the transmission range switch, the brake switch, the vehicle speed sensor, the ECM, and the ETS motor, which are connected to the throttle body.

Im ECM ist ein Grenzwert für niedrige Geschwindigkeit gespeichert, der eine Aktivierung des Systems unterhalb einer Mindestgeschwindigkeit von 40 km/h verhindert.

Der Betrieb der Steuereinheit wird über Modussteuerschalter am Lenkrad gesteuert.

The transmission range switch and brake switch are used to deactivate the cruise control system. The switches are located on the brake pedal bracket and the transmission. When the brake pedal is depressed or the selector lever is moved, the cruise control system is electrically deactivated and the throttle valve returns to the idle position.

Cruise control main switch (CRUISE)

Das Geschwindigkeitsregelungssystem wird mit der Taste eingeschaltet "ON/OFF". Beim Drücken der Taste "ON/OFF" wird die Drosselklappe freigegeben, die gespeicherte Fahrgeschwindigkeit wird gelöscht, und das Geschwindigkeitsregelungssystem wird ausgeschaltet.

SET/Coast switch (SET/–)

Der Schalter "SET/–" rechts an der Lenkradsäule hat zwei Stellungen.

SET position - Press and release the "SET/–" switch when the desired speed is reached. The SET indicator light in the instrument cluster illuminates. Release the accelerator pedal. The desired speed is maintained automatically.

COAST position - Press and hold the "SET/–" switch when the cruise control system is on. The vehicle speed gradually decreases. When the desired speed is reached, release the switch. The desired speed is maintained.

Den "SET/–"-Schalter kurz drücken. Die Regelgeschwindigkeit wird auf 2 km/h hinabgesetzt.

Schalter Resume/Accel (RES/+)

Der Schalter "RES/+" rechts an der Lenkradsäule hat zwei Stellungen.

RESUME position - If a means other than the cruise control main switch "ON/OFF" was used to cancel the set speed and the system is still activated, press the "RES/+" switch to resume the last set speed. The speed will not be resumed only if the vehicle speed has dropped below approximately 40 km/h in the meantime.

ACCEL position - Press and hold the "RES/+" switch when the cruise control system is on. The vehicle speed gradually increases. When the desired speed is reached, release the switch. The desired speed is maintained.

Den "RES/+"-Schalter kurz drücken. Die Regelgeschwindigkeit wird auf 2 km/h erhöht.

Cancel switch (CANCEL)

The cruise control system is temporarily deactivated by pressing the "CANCEL" switch.

Die durch diesen Schalter deaktivierte Regelgeschwindigkeit wird durch die Betätigung des Schalters "RES/+" wieder aufgenommen.
