  1. Turn the ignition switch and all other switches to OFF.
  2. Remove the fuse panel cover by pressing the tab and pulling the cover upward.

When the blade fuse is disconnected, remove it using the fuse puller designed specifically for replacing the fuses located in the engine compartment fuse box. After removal, firmly insert a spare fuse of the same rating.

  • Check the removed fuse; replace it if it is blown. To remove or install a fuse, use the fuse puller provided in the engine compartment fuse box.
  • Insert the new fuse of the same rating and make sure it is firmly seated in the clips.

    • If it is loose after installation, consult an authorized Kia dealer. WARNING After checking the engine compartment fuse box, install its cover securely. Otherwise, water may enter and cause electrical malfunctions.
