■ Bulb type

  1. Open the tailgate.
  2. Loosen the nut of the third brake light assembly.
  3. Remove the assembly with its connector.
  4. Remove the bulb holder from the assembly by pulling it out.
  5. Pull the bulb out while holding it straight.
  6. Install a new bulb in the bulb holder, then install the holder on the assembly.
  7. Securely reinstall the third brake light assembly.

■ LED type

If the light (LED) does not work, have the vehicle checked by an authorized Kia dealer.
