The rear window defroster removes condensation from the rear window.

To use the defroster, the ignition switch must be in the ON position.

Press the switch to turn on the rear window defroster. The rear window defroster operates for about 15 minutes, then turns off automatically.

The indicator light illuminates while the defroster is operating.

To turn off the rear window defroster before 15 minutes have elapsed, press the switch again.

CAUTION

Do not use sharp objects or scrapers to clean the inside of the rear window.

You may damage the heating elements on the inside of the rear window.

CAUTION

The rear window defroster is not designed to melt snow.

If there is a large amount of snow on the rear window, remove it before using the defroster.

Mirror Heaters*

To turn on the mirror heaters, set the ignition switch to ON and press the rear window defroster switch (page 4-78).

Horn

To sound the horn, press thehorn symbol on the steering wheel.
