The ignition switch must be in the ON position and the headlights must be on.

The headlight washers operate automatically once for every five windshield washer operations.

To operate the headlight washers, pull the wiper lever twice.

CAUTION

If air enters the headlight washer line, for example when the vehicle is new or after refilling an empty washer tank, fluid will not spray when the lever is operated.

If this happens, follow this procedure: 1. Start the engine.

2. Turn on the headlights.

3. Pull the lever twice several times until fluid is sprayed.
