Starting and driving

To avoid collisions and rollovers

~1min read

WARNING

If this vehicle is not driven carefully and safely, a loss of vehicle control or an accident may occur.

Always drive attentively and carefully. Obey traffic laws. Avoid excessive speed, high-speed cornering and sudden steering maneuvers, as these may cause you to lose control of the vehicle. As with any vehicle, a loss of control may cause you to collide with other vehicles or objects. The vehicle may also roll over, especially if the loss of control results in a sideways skid. Avoid driving when you are tired and stay alert at all times. Never drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs (including prescription or over-the-counter medications that cause drowsiness). Always wear your seat belt as described in the "Safety - Seats, Seat Belts and Supplemental Restraint System" section of this manual, and require all other passengers in your vehicle to do the same.

Seat belts help reduce the risk of injury in a collision or rollover. In a rollover, the risk of injury or death is increased for persons who are not wearing their seat belt or who are wearing it incorrectly.
