Brake pad wear indicator warning signal

Brake pad wear indicators may emit a warning signal. When a brake pad needs to be replaced, the corresponding wear indicator emits a high-pitched squealing noise while driving, whether or not the brake pedal is depressed.

Have your vehicle's brakes checked as soon as possible if the brake wear indicators make this noise.

Headlight on reminder chime

If the headlights or parking lights are on and the ignition switch is turned to the OFF position, a chime sounds when you open the driver's door.

Turn off the headlights before leaving your vehicle.

NISSAN Intelligent Key™ door warning buzzer

The Intelligent Key door warning buzzer sounds if the Intelligent Key is left inside the vehicle when you lock the doors.

When the buzzer sounds, be sure to check the vehicle and the Intelligent Key. Refer to the "NISSAN Intelligent Key™" section in the "Pre-Driving Checks and Adjustments" chapter.
