Removal and installation

PROCEDURE

Rear Window-Mounted Antenna

1. This antenna is installed on some vehicles and is combined with the rear window defogger. If a malfunction is suspected, contact an authorized service center.

Rear Fender-Mounted Antenna

2. Disconnect the battery ground.

3. Remove the luggage compartment mat.

4. Release the clips and remove the mat trim panel.

5. Disconnect the antenna motor connector through the opening in the body panel.

6. Disconnect the antenna from the body.

7. Disconnect the antenna lead wire, and release the ground wire from the clip.

8. Отверните гайку крепления мачты антенны.

8. Remove the antenna mast mounting nut.

9. Remove the two screws securing the antenna to the body.

10. Remove the antenna and disconnect the drain hose.

11. Install the antenna in the reverse order. Tighten the screws only after tightening the mast nut.

Roof-Mounted Antenna

12. Remove the two screws from the outside, remove the antenna, and disconnect the lead wire.

13. Install the antenna in the reverse order.

Antenna in the Upper Part of the Windshield

14. Remove the two screws from the outside, remove the antenna, and disconnect the lead wire.

15. Install the antenna in the reverse order. Tighten the screws securely.
