Removal and Installation

PROCEDURE

1. Remove the door trim panel.

2. Remove the screws (shown by arrows), remove the speaker in its housing and disconnect the connector.

3. If necessary, remove the speaker from the housing by removing 4 screws.

4. Install the speaker in the reverse order.

Speaker in the Footwell Pocket

5. Disconnect the battery negative cable.

6. Open the door and remove the front pillar weatherstrip.

7. Carefully pry up and remove the pillar trim panel.

8. Remove the screws securing the speaker to the pillar, lift the speaker, and disconnect the connectors.

9. Install the speaker in the reverse order.

Rear Speaker (Sedan)

10. Disconnect the battery negative terminal.

11. Remove the rear parcel shelf tray.

12. Remove the four screws and remove the speaker from the body panel. Disconnect the connector and release the wires from the clips.

13. Install the speaker in the reverse order.

Rear Speaker (Hatchback)

14. Disconnect the battery negative terminal.

15. Remove the four screws from the side panel/shelf and remove the speaker from the bracket. Disconnect the connector.

16. Install the speaker in the reverse order.
