Exterior lighting

GENERAL INFORMATION

Warning: Before removing any lighting unit, disconnect the battery ground.

Removal and installation

PROCEDURE

Headlights (sedan and hatchback)

1. Remove the turn signal lamp lens.

2. Remove the front grille.

3. Disconnect the connectors.

4. Unscrew the two side bolts.

5. Unscrew the two rear nuts.

6. Remove the headlight.

7. Install in reverse order. Make sure the lower hinge is securely fastened. Check the headlight adjustment (see subsection 14.8).

Front turn signal lamp lens

8. See subsection 14.5 (the photo shows the front turn signal connector). Front side turn signal repeater lens

5. Front fog lamps

5. Driving lamp

5. Rear combination lamp

12. Remove the bulb holder.

13. Unscrew the four nuts (photo left) and remove the bracket (photo right).

14. Remove the rear combination lamp. The unit is secured with adhesive sealant.

15. Clean the lamp unit and the edge of the body opening to remove sealant residue.

16. Apply sealant to the edge of the lamp unit.

17. Install the lamp unit in reverse order.
