Exterior Lamps

GENERAL INFORMATION

New bulbs must be fully compatible with the old ones. When replacing, make sure the contacts are clean and secure.

Replacement

PROCEDURE

Headlights

1. Open the hood.

2. Press the latches and disconnect the connector.

3. Remove the cover by turning it counterclockwise.

4. Remove the rubber boot.

5. Remove the bulb holder by pressing the latch.

6. Remove the bulb.

7. Hold the new bulb only with a clean cloth. Do not touch it with bare fingers.

8. Install the new bulb so that the holder tab engages the slot in the headlight housing. Install the boot with the 'TOP' marking facing up and connect the connector.

Side marker lamp

1. Open the hood.

2. Press the latches and disconnect the connector.

3. Remove the bulb holder by turning it counterclockwise.

4. Remove the bulb from the holder.

5. Insert the new bulb and install in reverse order.

Turn signal lamp

1. Open the hood and remove the screws of the turn signal lamp lens at its upper outer part.

2. Disconnect the lower hinge, pry and carefully remove the lamp lens from the fender.

3. Remove the bulb holder by turning it counterclockwise.

4. The bulb is secured in the holder by a bayonet connection.

5. Install the new bulb in reverse order. When installing, make sure the tab on the lens engages the hole in the body.

Side turn signal repeater

1. Move the lens forward and disconnect it from the fender panel.

2. Remove the lens and unscrew the holder counterclockwise.

3. Remove the bulb by pulling it out of the holder.

4. Install the new bulb in reverse order.

Driving lamp

1. Unscrew the two driving lamp mounting screws. Do not touch the adjusting screws.

2. Remove the driving lamp and remove the rear cover by turning it counterclockwise.

3. Remove the retaining ring and the bulb, and disconnect the connector.

4. Handle the bulb only with a clean cloth.

5. Insert the new bulb, aligning the tab and the slot in the lamp housing.

6. Secure the bulb with the retaining ring and connect the connector.

7. Install the cover, fit the lamp unit and tighten the screws.

Front fog lamps

1. Unscrew the two screws. Do not touch the beam adjustment screws.

2. Disconnect the connector, remove the retaining ring and the bulb.

3. Install the bulb in reverse order.

Rear combination lamp

1. Open the luggage compartment (cargo area) lid.

2. Release the latch and open the access cover in the rear trim panel.

3. Remove the bulb holder.

4. The bulbs are secured in the holder by a bayonet connection.

5. Replace the bulb and install the holder in reverse order. The stop/tail lamp bulb has locating lugs.

License plate lamp

1. Unscrew the two screws and remove the lamp lens from the rear cover.

2. Pull out and remove the bulb.

3. Install the new bulb in reverse order.
