Removal

PROCEDURE

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

2. Remove the drive belt from the generator pulley.

3. Disconnect the wiring.

4. Remove the upper and lower bolts and remove the generator.

Installation

PROCEDURE

1. Install in the reverse order.

2. Adjust the drive belt tension and check the tightness of the mounting bolts.

Inspection and replacement of brushes and voltage regulator. To be performed at a service station.
