Removal

PROCEDURE

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

2. Raise the front of the vehicle and support it on stands.

3. Loosen the bolts and move the exhaust manifold bracket aside.

4. Disconnect the power cable and the solenoid control wire from the solenoid (as indicated by the arrows).

5. Remove the bolts and remove the starter.

6. If necessary, turn the wheels fully to the stop.

Installation: Installation is performed in the reverse order.
