Removal and Installation CARBURETOR ENGINES WITH CATALYTIC CONVERTER The igniter is mounted on the left suspension strut cover.

PROCEDURE

1. Disconnect the battery ground, disconnect the connector from the igniter.

2. Remove the screws and remove the igniter.

3. Installation is performed in the reverse order.

FUEL INJECTION ENGINES On these engines the igniter is built into the ignition distributor, which is replaced only as an assembly.
