Removal and installation

PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable (see subsection 3.3.2).
2. Remove the lower instrument panel finish panel under the glove box on the passenger side (see subsection 11.23).
3. Remove the center panel on the passenger side (see subsection 11.21).

4. Disconnect the connectors from the electronic control unit after releasing the connector locks (indicated by arrows).
5. Remove the bolts from the control unit mounting brackets.
6. Remove the electronic control unit from the vehicle.
7. Installation is performed in the reverse order.
