Towing a trailer

The sensors are automatically deactivated when the trailer's electrical connector is plugged into the vehicle's trailer socket.

The sensors are automatically reactivated when the trailer's electrical connector is unplugged.

Caution: If the towing hook is to remain installed even when no trailer is attached, contact the Fiat Service Network to have the system updated accordingly, as the hook may be detected as an obstacle by the central sensors.

Any operating faults of the parking sensors are indicated when reverse gear is engaged by the warning lampon the
instrument panel or the symboltogether with
the message on the display (see chapter "Warning lights and indicators").
