Removal

1. 1
   Remove the left axle shaft.
   Refer to: Front Axle Shaft, Left (205-04 Front Axle Shafts, Removal and Installation).
2. 2
   Make a small hole in the axle shaft seal.
   Use general equipment: Hammer

   

3. 3
   Using a dent puller, remove the axle shaft seal.
   Use general equipment: Puller

   

Installation

1. 1
   Install the new axle shaft seal on the special tool.
   Use special service tools: 205-153 (T80T-4000-W) Handle, 307-626 Installer, Differential Seal.

   

2. 2
   Using the special tool, install the left axle shaft seal.
   Use special service tools: 205-153 (T80T-4000-W) Handle, 307-626 Installer, Differential Seal.

   

3. 3
   Install the left axle shaft.
   Refer to: Front Axle Shaft, Left (205-04 Front Axle Shafts, Removal and Installation).
4. 4
   Check the transmission fluid level.
   Refer to: Transmission Fluid Level Check (307-01A Automatic Transmission - 6-Speed Automatic Transmission - 6F35, General Procedures).
