Line Pressure Check
This test confirms that the line pressure is within specification.
- Remove the 2 bolts and set the air cleaner upper housing aside.
- Remove the air cleaner lower housing.
- Connect the air cleaner lower housing to the air cleaner upper housing.
- Connect the transmission fluid pressure gauge (307-004) to the line pressure tap.
- Start the engine and check the line pressure.
- Compare the LINEDSD# value with the actual measured pressure. The actual measured pressure should be within 10 PSI (69 kPa). Raise engine speed to 2000 rpm. Check LPC operation by monitoring LINE pressure while commanding LINEDSD# up and down.
- If line pressure is not within specification, refer to the Line Pressure Diagnosis Chart for possible causes.
- After completing the pressure tests, install the line pressure tap plug.
- Torque: 18 N·m.
- Disconnect the air cleaner lower housing from the air cleaner upper housing.
- Install the air cleaner lower housing.
- Install the air cleaner upper housing and install the 2 bolts.
- Torque: 5 N·m.
