Connect

  1. Place the vehicle in NEUTRAL on the hoist.

  2. Use a fluid exchanger to replace the fluid.
    Material: Motorcraft® MERCON® LV Automatic Transmission Fluid / XT-10-QLVC (WSS-M2C938-A) (MERCON® LV)
  3. Connect the fluid exchanger to the transmission fluid cooler line downstream of the transmission fluid cooler on the return line. This will help remove any foreign material that has entered the transmission fluid cooler.
  4. Perform the transmission fluid replacement using the fluid exchanger. Follow the manufacturer's instructions supplied with the machine.
  5. After completing the transmission fluid replacement, disconnect the fluid exchanger. Reconnect all transmission fluid cooler lines that were disconnected.
  6. Check the transmission fluid level.
