The center rear seatback has a pass-through hatch that allows loading from the cargo area. To use the pass-through hatch, pull up the latch located at the top of the center rear seatback and lower the hatch to the horizontal position.

If the vehicle is equipped with a parcel shelf, do not use this shelf when the seatback is folded down. During emergency braking or a collision, items on the shelf may be thrown forward with considerable force and cause serious injury to vehicle occupants.
