Detachable Anchor

The rear center seat belt is equipped with a detachable anchor.
This allows the rear center seat belt to be removed when folding the center seat or when folding the right rear seatback.
Using the seat belt when the detachable buckle is not properly secured significantly increases the risk of serious injury or death in the event of a collision.
Before using the seat belt, make sure the belt anchor is properly secured.

Pull the small tongue and tongue out of the holders on the ceiling, then pull out the seat belt.

When returning the seatbacks to the upright position, secure the anchor properly. To do this, align the triangular marks on the small tongue and the detachable buckle anchor, and insert the tongue into the buckle.
Pull on the seat belt to make sure the anchor is securely locked. Make sure the seat belt is not twisted.

To detach the detachable anchor, insert the belt tongue into the side slot of the detachable anchor. Store the detachable anchor and the seat belt tongue in the retractor housing.
