Replacing the Interior Lamp Bulbs

Bulbs in the overhead courtesy light, map lights, cargo area light, and vanity mirror lights are replaced in a similar way.

However, different bulbs are used in these lights.

1. To prevent scratches when removing the lens, place a piece of cloth on its edge. Carefully pry the edge of the lens with a nail file or small flat-blade screwdriver. Do not pry the housing edge that surrounds the lens.

Overhead Light:

Pry the front edge of the lens up on both sides.

Map Lights:

Pry the lenses of both lights from the inside.

Cargo Area Light:

Pry the side edge of the lens at the center.

Pry the lower edge of the lens.

2. Remove the bulb from the holder without turning it.

3. Insert the new bulb into the holder.

Install the lens until it clicks into place.
