Since summer tread tires do not provide reliable traction on roads covered with snow or ice, it is recommended to use winter tires marked “M+S” in the winter season. To ensure safe vehicle operation, install winter tires on all four wheels. Use tires of only one brand and model at a time. When purchasing winter tires, pay attention to their size, load capacity and speed rating.

For vehicles supplied to Europe: Install winter tires in accordance with the information in the vehicle registration documents. If the maximum vehicle speed exceeds the maximum speed rating of the winter tires, EEC regulations require a speed limit reminder label to be attached to the vehicle when winter tires are installed. The label must be placed within the driver's field of view. The label can be obtained from the tire dealer.
