Snow Chains
Use snow chains only in emergency situations, or when they are required by law in the region. Install snow chains on the front wheels. When driving on snow or ice with snow chains installed, exercise increased attention and caution. Note that a vehicle with snow chains may have poorer handling than a vehicle with good winter tires without chains. Certain types of snow chains may damage the tires, wheels, suspension, brake lines or vehicle body. Install only small-link chains that provide sufficient clearance between the wheels, wheel arches, and suspension and steering components. When selecting the chain brand and type, refer to the tire and chain installation diagram, as well as other information and instructions from the chain manufacturer. Before purchasing a set of snow chains, consult an authorized Honda dealer.
When driving with snow chains on snow-covered or icy roads, do not exceed a speed of 30 km/h.
To reduce wear on the chains and tires, avoid driving with snow chains installed on dry and clean road surfaces.
