PROCEDURE

1. Remove the front wheel.

2. Выверните болт, соединяющий универсальный шарнир и вал шестерни рулевой передачи.

2. Remove the bolt connecting the universal joint and the steering gear pinion shaft.

3. Извлеките шплинты и отверните гайки крепления цапф шаровых шарниров наконечников

3. Remove the cotter pins and loosen the nuts securing the ball joint studs of the tie rod ends to the steering knuckles. Using Special Service Tool 09568–31000, press the ball joint studs of the tie rod ends out of the steering knuckles.

4. Снимите заднюю опору двигателя.

4. Remove the rear engine mount.
5. Remove the bolts and the steering gear mounting brackets.

6. Переместите рулевую передачу и достаньте ее с правой стороны автомобиля.

6. Move the steering gear and remove it from the right side of the vehicle.
