COMPONENTS

DISASSEMBLY

1. Disconnect the PCV hose and the PCV valve hose.

2. Снимите шкив насоса охлаждающей жидкости и шкив коленчатого вала.

2. Remove the water pump pulley and the crankshaft pulley.

3. Remove the timing belt cover.

4. Loosen the timing belt tensioner pulley bolts, release the belt tension, and temporarily secure the tensioner pulley.

5. Remove the timing belt from the camshaft sprocket.

6. Remove the bolts securing the center cover, then remove the cover.

7. Remove the ignition coil assembly.

8. Отверните болты крепления крышки головки цилиндров и затем снимите крышку.

8. Remove the bolts securing the cylinder head cover, then remove the cover.

9. Remove the camshaft sprocket.

10. Снимите крышки подшипников распределительного вала и цепь привода ГРМ.

10. Remove the camshaft bearing caps and the timing chain.

11. Remove the camshaft.

12. Remove the mechanical lash adjusters together with the adjusting shims.

Keep the lash adjusters and adjusting shims in sets, in order matching the valves, to ensure correct reassembly.
