EXHAUST MANIFOLD - COMPONENTS

REMOVAL

1. Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield.

2. Remove the exhaust manifold assembly from the cylinder head.

3. Remove the exhaust manifold gasket.

INSPECTION EXHAUST MANIFOLD

1. Inspect the exhaust manifold for cracks and damage.

2. On models with a catalytic converter, inspect the weld between the exhaust manifold and the catalytic converter for cracks and damage.

INSTALLATION

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

Replace the exhaust manifold gasket and self-locking nuts with new ones before installation.
