COOLING SYSTEM HOSES AND PIPES - COMPONENTS

INSPECTION

Inspect the coolant hoses and pipes for cracks, damage, or deposits on their inner walls.

Replace if necessary.

INSTALLATION

Install the O-ring on the coolant inlet pipe, apply a small amount of coolant or water to its outer surface, and then install the pipe.

• Do not allow engine oil or grease to get on the O-ring of the coolant pipe.

• Do not allow sand, dust, or other foreign matter to get into the coolant pipe connections.

• Insert the coolant inlet pipe into the water pump until it stops.

• Do not reuse the O-ring. Replace the removed O-ring with a new one.
