2. Using the special service tool (valve spring compressor 09222-28000 and adapter 09222-28100), remove the valve cotters from the valve spring retainer. Then remove the valve spring retainer, valve spring, valve spring seat, and valve.

Keep the parts for each valve separately as a set to avoid mixing them up during installation.
