Emission control warning light (if equipped) This light illuminates when there is a malfunction in an emission control system component and the system is not functioning properly, so that exhaust emissions are not adequately controlled. This light also comes on when the ignition switch is turned to "ON" and goes off after a few seconds. If it stays on while driving or does not come on when the key is turned to "ON", take your vehicle to the nearest authorized Hyundai dealer for inspection of the system.
