1. POWER ON/OFF, VOLUME knob

Turn the knob clockwise to turn on the audio system. The ignition switch must be in the ACC or ON position. Once the system is on, you can increase or decrease the volume by turning the knob clockwise or counterclockwise.

• BALANCE

Pull the volume knob toward you and turn it clockwise to increase the sound from the right speakers. To increase the sound from the left speakers, turn the knob counterclockwise.

• SCAN

When this knob is pressed, the frequency will increase until the receiver tunes to the next receivable station. Each station is played for 5 seconds. When the desired station is found, press the SCAN knob again to cancel the scan function.

2. BASS/TREBLE pull knob

Press this knob so that it pops out.

To increase the bass level, turn the knob clockwise. To decrease the bass level, turn the knob counterclockwise.

To increase the treble level, pull the knob out further and turn it clockwise. To decrease the treble level, turn the knob counterclockwise. After adjusting, push the knob in.

3. PRESET BUTTONS (1 ~ 6)

Press one of these buttons for less than 2 seconds to listen to a stored station. Press and hold a preset button for 2 seconds or more to store the current station in that button's memory.

4. LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

The liquid crystal display shows the following information: frequency band FM1/FM2/AM/(L)/(M), preset channel number, and ST when an FM stereo broadcast is received.

5. TUNE BUTTON

Press thebutton for less than 1 second to increase the frequency. Press thebutton for less than 1 second to decrease the frequency.

• SEEK

Press and hold thebutton for more than 1 second. The receiver will tune to the next receivable station with a higher frequency. Similarly, press and hold thebutton for more than 1 second. The receiver will tune to the next receivable station with a lower frequency. If the selected station is already stored in memory, the channel will also be shown on the display.

6. FM/AM BAND SELECTOR BUTTON. The FM/AM band selector button is used to change the band in the following sequence:

FM1FM2AMFM1 (FM1FM2MLFM1: Europe)

7. FADER BUTTON (if equipped). This button is located above the power ON/OFF knob. Turn the button clockwise to decrease the sound from the front speakers. Turn the button counterclockwise to decrease the sound from the rear speakers.
