DRY HEATING

For dry heating:

• Turn on the blower control switch.

• Turn on the air conditioner by pressing the switch. The air conditioner indicator light will come on at the same time.

• Set the fresh/recirculation control to "Fresh".

• Set the air flow control to "Face".

• Set the blower control to the desired speed. For faster operation, set the blower to one of the high speeds.

• Adjust the temperature control to obtain the desired heat.

Usage Tips

• If the interior is hot when you enter the vehicle, open the windows for a few minutes to let the hot air escape.

• If you are using the air conditioner, keep all windows closed to prevent hot air from entering.

• If you must drive slowly, such as in heavy traffic, shift to a lower gear. This increases engine speed, which in turn increases the speed of the air conditioner compressor.

• When driving on long uphill grades, turn off the air conditioner from time to time to avoid possible engine overheating.

• During the winter months or when the air conditioner is not used regularly, turn on the air conditioner switch for a few minutes from time to time. This improves lubricant circulation and maintains good performance of your system.
