Before backing up, always check the position of your mirror: you should be able to see directly behind you. When using the mirror, always be careful when judging the distance to vehicles behind you.

Power type (if equipped)

The outside rearview mirror can be adjusted in any direction to obtain maximum rear visibility.

The remote outside mirror control switch adjusts both the right and left door mirrors.

To adjust the position of either mirror:

1. Move the switch to the "R" (or "L") position (R - right mirror, L - left mirror) to activate the adjustment mechanism for the door mirror.

2. Now adjust the mirror angle by pressing the corresponding switch around the perimeter, as shown in the illustration.
