Driving Your Vehicle
Electronic Stability Control (ESC)
In this manual: Driving Your Vehicle
~1min read

Electronic Stability Control (ESC) helps stabilize the vehicle when cornering.
ESC monitors where you are steering and where the vehicle is actually going. ESC applies braking force to any of the vehicle's brakes and intervenes in engine control to help the driver keep the vehicle on the intended path. It is not a substitute for safe driving. Always adjust your speed and drive according to road conditions.
WARNING
Never drive too fast for road conditions or too fast when cornering. The ESC system will not prevent accidents.
Excessive speed in turns, abrupt maneuvering, and hydroplaning on wet surfaces may result in serious accidents.
