Tire Rotation
To even out tread wear, HYUNDAI recommends rotating the tires every 7,500 miles (12,000 km) or sooner if uneven wear develops.
When rotating, check the tires for proper balance.
When rotating the tires, check for uneven wear and damage. Abnormal wear is usually caused by incorrect tire pressure, incorrect wheel alignment, wheel imbalance, hard braking, or sharp cornering. Look for bumps or bulges on the tread or sidewall of the tire. Replace the tire if you find any of these conditions. Replace the tire if fabric or cord is visible. After rotation, be sure to adjust the front and rear tire pressures to specification and check the wheel nut tightening torque (wheel nut torque 11~13 kgf·m [79~94 lbf·ft]).

Disc brake pads must be checked for wear whenever the tires are rotated.
Information
Tires with an asymmetric design are distinguishable as outside and inside. When installing an asymmetric tire, be sure to install the side marked "OUTSIDE" facing outward. If the side marked "INSIDE" is installed facing outward, it will negatively affect vehicle performance.
WARNING
- Do not use the compact spare tire for tire rotation.
- Never mix bias-ply and radial tires on the vehicle under any circumstances. This may cause unusual handling characteristics that can result in loss of vehicle control and an accident.
