Low Profile Tires (if equipped)

~1min read

Low profile tires with an aspect ratio below 50 are designed for sporty driving. Since low profile tires are optimized for handling and braking, they may offer less ride comfort and produce more road noise than standard tires.

WARNING

Because the sidewall of a low profile tire is shorter than normal, there is a higher risk of damage to the tire and wheel. Therefore, follow the instructions below.

  • Drive carefully on rough roads or off-road, as the tires and wheels may be damaged. Check the tires and wheels after driving.
  • Fahren Sie langsam über ein Schlagloch, eine Rüttelschwelle, einen Kanaldeckel oder eine Bordsteinkante, damit die Reifen und Räder nicht beschädigt werden.
  • If the tire has been impacted, check the tire condition and have it inspected by a qualified workshop. Kia recommends visiting a Kia dealer/service partner.
  • To avoid tire damage, check the tire condition and tire pressure every 3,000 km.
  • Tire damage is not always easy to detect with the naked eye. If there is the slightest sign of tire damage, have the tire inspected or replaced, even if the damage cannot be seen with the naked eye. Tire damage can cause air leaks.
  • If the tire is damaged by driving on rough roads or off-road, or by driving over potholes, ditches or curbs, this damage is not covered by the warranty.
  • More tire information is located on the tire sidewall.
