  1. To turn on the system, press the speed limiter button on the steering wheel.

The speed limiter indicator
will illuminate.

  1. Move the lever down (to SET-).
  2. Move the lever up (to RES+) or down (to SET-) and release it at the desired speed. Move the lever up (to RES+) or down (to SET-) and hold it. The speed will increase or decrease by 5 km/h (3 mph) each time.

The set speed will be displayed.

To drive faster than the set speed limit, the driver must fully press the accelerator pedal (more than 80%) until the kick-down mechanism engages and a click sound is emitted.

The set speed limit will then flash and a warning chime will sound until the driver returns the vehicle speed to within the set speed limit.

NOTE

  • Pressing the accelerator pedal less than 50% will prevent the vehicle from exceeding the set speed limit and will keep the speed within the set limit.
  • A click sound from the kick-down mechanism when the accelerator pedal is fully pressed is normal.
