Cruise control in the fourth-generation Lexus GS (2016–2020) makes longer journeys more comfortable by maintaining a constant speed without using the accelerator. This section explains simple operation and adjustment of the speed, as well as how to cancel and resume the function safely. Special notes cover the system's limitations and when it should be switched off due to road or weather conditions. In this way, the system becomes a useful aid that must be used responsibly.

  • The actual speed falls more than approx. 16 km/h below the preset speed.

In this case, the stored speed setting is cleared.

  • The actual speed is less than approx. 40 km/h.
